The primary objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of temperature controlled radio-frequency tongue ablation for patients with OSA. The study concluded that on average, abnormalities in daytime somnolence, quality of life, and reaction time testing demonstrated improvement from baseline and were normalized after the temperature controlled radio-frequency tongue ablation treatment. Polysomnographic respiratory parameters also demonstrated significant improvement with the temperature controlled radio-frequency tongue ablation. Click Here to Learn More
