Jeffrey L Silveira MD
Dr. Jeffrey L. Silveira was born is a California native and received his undergraduate education at San Joaquin Delta College and University of California Davis. Following college, Dr. Silveira attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1987. Dr. Silveira then proceeded to complete an internship with the U.S. Army at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Upon the completion of his internship, Dr. Silveira served as a General Medical Officer in West Germany from 1988 to 1990. After his stint in West Germany, Dr. Silveira completed a residency with the U.S. Army at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. In 1994, after completing his residency, Dr. Silveira was made the Chief of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas. During his time practicing medicine in the military, Dr. Silveira received two Army Commendation Medals.
In 1996, Dr. Silveira elected to continue his career outside the military and took an active staff member position with Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia, where he still works today. He has also served as Coffee Regional Medical Center’s Director of Surgery, Chairman, Medical Executive Committee member, and President, among other roles. In addition to his affiliation with Coffee Regional Medical Center, Dr. Silveira has acted as courtesy staff for Tift Regional Medical Center, Irwin County Hospital, and Dorminy Medical Center. Dr. Silveira also founded and is active with the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic, which has multiple Georgia locations.
Currently, Jeffrey L Silveira MD is dedicating time to practicing medicine with Sleep Apnea Treatment Centers of America, a company he helped found. Dr. Silveira is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia and received his board certification in Otolarynology in 1995. Follow me on Google+
